He missed all his left bargeboard and his front left wing flow conditioner.Artur Craft wrote: ↑19 Jul 2026, 16:36Appeared to be no damage on Hamilton´s car. Max was holding Leclerc, with clean air, he just vanished in front of Hamilton again
Leclerc touched Piastri with his wheel/tire.Artur Craft wrote: ↑19 Jul 2026, 16:50Did Leclerc have damage from the "crash" with Piastri ? I saw him throw the car into Oscar, I just didn´t notice it there was any damage for any of them. I assume not so much otherwise how could he remain so close to Antonelli at the end?!
To add salt to that team didnt adjust the front wing at the pitstopSevach wrote: ↑19 Jul 2026, 17:01Leclerc touched Piastri with his wheel/tire.
Maybe the aero work on that wheel was a little compromised.
After the pitstop his car should be in perfect conditions.
I'm curious how much Hamilton was losing from that bargeboard since it's now forced by regulations to push air in instead of out, opposite of what aero guys would want.
Still it changed his car balance and he wanted more FW.
are you new to the sport? first lap incidents are always taken more generously and even rus admitted it was a racing incident. apart from the short run to la source, this was the first major braking zone in the race. ham's penalty was not justified.Artur Craft wrote: ↑19 Jul 2026, 16:50Oh, sorry. I didn´t see that. I was following the GP on the second screen and was doing something else on a main screen. Did Leclerc have damage from the "crash" with Piastri ? George gave plenty of space on the inside but Hamilton just carried a bit too much speed and understeered into him
Both FIArrari drivers should have received 10s on this race
too bad Ham got the stupid penalty. from the radio chatter he was going pit early or perhaps a 2 stop?ismail1991 wrote: ↑19 Jul 2026, 17:03To add salt to that team didnt adjust the front wing at the pitstopSevach wrote: ↑19 Jul 2026, 17:01Leclerc touched Piastri with his wheel/tire.

It's a first lap racing incident. Even Russell said so himself. It was just the FIA defaulting to their "punishment must fit the consequence" way of doing things than actually judging the actions.Mogster wrote: ↑19 Jul 2026, 17:41It was harsh but Hamilton wasn’t fully in control. There was a correction on the steering as he lost the rear. That led to him running slightly wide and into Russell. The stewards always sanction contact after a loss of control more harshly. I do think if Russell had been able to continue it wouldn’t have been a penalty.
I think George had gone too hot into the corner having lost places on the straight. Whilst he would make the corner I don’t think he left himself, or Lewis, any options other than to touch. He said himself it was a racing incident but some posters on here are just happy to blame Lewis. It's ok not liking Hamilton but why make up stuff like this? Obvious damage to the car and obvious loss of performance accruing from that.Artur Craft wrote: ↑19 Jul 2026, 16:36Appeared to be no damage on Hamilton´s car.
