It's been going on for years now. Since the announcement of the CAP. The big teams nolonger have budget to pay people more. So engineers have to go to other teams to get raises.
Thanks but is not true for Ferrari, Mclaren and Aston Martin. Aston Marting is buying big since 2019. Its 7 years now and and they are constantly growing. Even with a deficit of 200-300 personall the people than came far exceeds what they lost. Mclaren two is growing.. And Ferrari is the best example. The same budget and large staff like Red Bull and Mercedes but they are constantly gaining not losing

Well Aston Martin and Mclaren, pre CAP, weren't budgeting at the same levels as RBR, Merc, Ferrari. As for Ferarri, Cardile started at Astin Martin Last July. Ferrari were so pissed about losing him, they even took Cardile to court to exent ihis gardening leave to the Max. There are a lot others.
Thank you for your kindness that you responded and for the infos with Cardile and Ferrari. Maybe Im to worried that Ferrari is catching Mercedes that Im blaiming them for this personall changes.

another one leaving...luciano nicomede an italian engineer working for Mercedes for 6 years goes to Ferrari... can they start buying engineer to from the top teams not just losing them? Ferrari as well as Red Bull are big organisations too and were overstaffed before the budget cap at the same degree as Mercedes...

It's been pretty quiet here lately.
Less team hopping or not so much in the public domain?

I haven't been well recently so haven't been able to check as much, but have a couple to report on. Stephen Taylor (long time Lead Composite Designer) has headed over from Mercedes to Aston Martin. Robert Miller has already been reported on here too.

I have lists over here. :))
