That doesn't make sense. They are down in peak power but they use some trickery that helps them where? Care to elaborate?
Makes perfect sense. A smaller turbo can spool faster and thus keeps your power more consistent albeit lower at the peak, it also helps with drivability. Exhaust back pressure through the exhaust wing takes away power in exchange for downforce at the rear. Neither one is an indication of inefficient combustion, it’s just a trade-off how you make your time.
Power under the curve. Shape of the curve. Torque stability. Throttle response. Reliability. All of these things.
They are banning small winglets on top of the wing as well. No need to invent narratives for Ferrari. Its not a big concern - everyone knows they were late to finalizing their 26 engine and behind RBPT and Mercedes when it came to testing. It won't be an issue by 27 at the latest.
