Alonso not stopping under VSC… they really don’t want points

Why on earth they didn't pit Fernando?

It's the right call I think guys. I don't think Alonso would be able to pass both Tsunoda and Gasly being 4 seconds behind them after the stop.

Very very poor job by Fernando race engineer, he had no clue up until now that he is in genuine fight for points until he asked himself....terrible job by engineer.
He being Alonso had no clue. the engineer knew.

Luckily the others behind did not stop but I doubt they can finish with those tyres… pure suicide

Chris Cronin made a huge mistake by telling Alonso not to pit.

Exactly
Cause if he pitted he would have come out behind Gasly and TSU.

With a 10 lap tyre delta on new softs. I would trust Alonso and his racecraft to find a way.

No chance. The current choice of staying out is the best imo. Even with newer tires we're not that competitive yet to close such a gap on those cars. Let's see.

Actually think it was the right call to stay out. Very much 50/50 though depending on deg over the last 10 laps. Hard to overtake here when down on power

At a track that is notoriously hard to pass with HP deficit?

I think you're a little too ambitious.

I think Gasly will be hard to keep behind. P10 should be achievable.

If you guys are not convinced even now that this was the right call of strategy then we're watching a different race.
