Have you ever thought about telling us something new? You don't think anybody here knows about the power deficit? It is what it is. The PU has obviously gotten lot better, especially in Race trim. I'm sure it will keep improving, not sure how coming here and shiiting all over it adds any value to this forum.
Yeah I messed up while translating from Spanish.
The race Engineer asked Alonso "if he got past Albon could lap faster", Alonso said no. So no to Albon holding Alonso back.Ashwinv16 wrote: ↑23 Aug 2026, 17:52Galsy Not being able to overtake despite being 0.6-0.8 off Alonso in T13 on 10 laps fresher mediums is testament to Honda's improvement. However, its time to talk about the elephant which is that the car itself was definetly on the draggier side. Monza Low Drag Setup should give insight to the improvemnts from Honda.
PS: Yes Alo got stuck behind Albon but The likes of Gasly was Stuck behind Sainz for 3-4 laps with the Merc Engine. So Starightline speed is now like 50% better.
gasley was hitting 219mph/352kph, which is the fastest on the grid today. safe to say alonsos top speed was nowhere near that. it had more to do with alonsos speed through corners and racecraft than anything (and some luck). big improvement by honda in this first race though.Ashwinv16 wrote: ↑23 Aug 2026, 17:52Galsy Not being able to overtake despite being 0.6-0.8 off Alonso in T13 on 10 laps fresher mediums is testament to Honda's improvement.
