Max mistake was not due to kerbs. It was due to dry lane which was slightly wider than where Max was driving. Wet patch appeared and there went the car. A bit of skill issue of the rest of drivers in fact for having that wider line, Max has shorter lines and is part of why he's so quick, but this is one of those exceptions where you have to follow the dry lane.

Nothing surprising, I don't know why to expect anything different. Mercedes hasn't upgraded their engine yet, so Red Bull couldn't fall behind.

Really no surprise.
Still have a bit of hope there might be a different outcome, revised rules/measurement at the end of the year but that's only a small hope.

Hahahaha and people still put Mekies above Horner...
If Horner was still around, this thing would be in court already.

Since this is first year of engines being measured, Red Bull PT will win the 2026 FIA F1 World Engine Championship

Not sure if FIA have a separate powertrain championship

the team agreed to Aduo what would have horner done, infact it was formulated to help new teams like redbull and audi .it just no one expected redbull to build the best engine.horner used to boast that he had hired 200 engineers from Mercedes so maybe he was right.

Couldnt mercedes and ferrari just upgrade parts of the engine not measured by this leaving redbull unable to do anything to their engine? I mean merc and ferrari dont have to use the tokens if they dont want to do they?

these Aduo thing is stupid i didnt know if you have the best engine you are not allowed to develop on the electric side even if you have a deficit to the best. The pu is 50 -50 so it is a major oversight to only look at engine only.at these point it feels like the car manufactures are trying to keep the drinks company down after 5 years of drabbing and embarrassment.

Well, the teams agreed on this, which is weird to be honest. It's almost as if everyone was expecting to be behind.

Amazing system, that is now HEAVILY penalising the engine that has not won a single race (or even pole) so far, in spite of having the best driver on the grid.

This line is repeated everywhere, but I believe Horner had already been fired before the ADUO test was finalized.

Pretty sure the test method was only presented as signed in January. Horner would have played the same game that Toto did.

No need to deify Horner. He was a good TP but he wasnt a god. Why didn’t he do anything against Mercedes dominance 2014-2020 if he was such a political mastermind?

If RedBull had agreed on this, unanimously with other teams. There’s nothing that Horner could have done about this result either.
