Monza will be another conflagration point. The Mercedes will start from the back. It’s an open goal for Hamilton against Antonelli. Ferrari will have Monza specific aero and PU.

So will they let Charles Leclerc get in the way? Will Fred stop beating around the bushes?
The Redbull and other Mercedes will still be there. Let's not underestimate whatever low downforce package McLaren wil bring either. What i am saying is It's not an automatic front fow for Ferrari especially with their weaker engine, so the dream scenario of Lewis and Charles one-two after Q3 and team orders coming into play might just stay as a dream.

Whatever the case... I do agree that since Antonelli is behind, Charles should be the sacrficial lamb to block him, UNLESS Charles can do a lightning start and somehow put himself as the sole Ferrari in contention for the win. Then that Ferrari win is more priority than Lewis closing in on kimi.

I don't remember what happened last year, but the car and braking characteristics of this track should suit Lewis better. I'm expecting him to be the ead Ferrari here.

Right - the cleansing of the thread and a removal of a lot of boring and bickering posts by the same people who cannot let it lie.

Driver yin-yang is tedious. It generates a lot of reporting and the collective rolling of eyes across the place as the same waffle is dished out.

This is F1 technical. It is not F1 gossip, or F1 driver love in.

Let's try again...

Ferrari...how can they mess up their strategy again/can they make poor decisions/can they disbenefit both drivers/will they ever win anything again? etc etc.

Or - do we think the team can finally get it's business together, leverage the quality it has and get a result on home territory in Monza?

In this low downforce circuit, only the drivers that will risk something will prevail and this are not the old farts. I expect some crashes also here where i hope it's not our guys.

It's a figure of speech, we see the youngster's in unstable situations to perform better. At least this is what I see, also they are keen to more risks but they crash more offcourse.
Max, Lando, Leclerc, Kimi are the ones i have my eyes on for this race.

How is "crashing more often" performing better in unstable conditions?

Drivers that are competing for titles have to remember that every point counts. Better to risk a little less and take a P2 or P3 today than risk it all unnecessarily and end up DNF.

Drivers who are looking for a brief flash of glory might be better taking the extra risk - but most won't be remembered as champions. Few hotshots are remembered and, of the ones that are, it is often for the saddest reason e.g. Gilles Villeneuve.

did they have these many marketing stunts in those days? now its like almost every freaking race one or another team or driver has "special" helmet/livery or some crap
i just wish to see team make step by step progress, which they kind of are doing but last race was really really poor in terms of management and strategies, can't really care for these marketing stunts hope they get podium if not win..

It is a nice livery - it doesn’t really remind me of the Schumacher era liveries at all, but I think it looks nice and I’m pleased they’re honouring Michael.

The only Schuie Ferrari livery it could refer to is the 1996 one on the F310. Every car after that had either the big Marlboro logo or a big white reference logo on the airbox spine.

Note also the white forward part of the front wing like the current car (albeit a different sponsor)

Leo Turrini reports that Thierry Baritaud (30+ years at Ferrari), head of hybrid systems and turbocharger at the Scuderia, is leaving Maranello.

28 points between Lewis and Charles, long way to go still, it’s too early to start prioritising drivers. Except for that 3 race stretch where Charles had two DNFs their performance has been pretty much identical.

Besides, I don’t feel that Ferrari is truly in the battle for the driver’s championship at this stage. Merc and Ant are too consistent and have a solid gap.
