Alonso waiting till November too see if Honda has improved in regards to renewing his contract. Clearly underwhelmed currently
Alonso is already 45 years old and he will retire soon. The question do you will continue to support Aston here?

I am trying to enjoy every moment that Alonso is on track because it very well could be his last time.

I’ll speak for myself and probably for a lot of other people, too. NO; half the people here are here because they’re Alonso fans, and if anyone doesn’t like it, they can simply ignore it. The truth is that Honda has embarrassed itself once again, and unfortunately, there won’t be time for us to see Alonso in a decent team. Yes, this forum would have half the discussions or maybe even fewer once Alonso leaves this team.

Someone pointed out to me the ramifications of the Honda board disbanding the F1 engine program. If they did not do that, Honda would not have lost 12 to 18 months of development during a period with no budget cap, and they would have had all their best people working in continuity.

That means Red Bull Racing would still be partners with Honda, and Aston Martin would still be a customer team with Mercedes. Aston Martin would never have had the opportunity for an exclusive deal with Honda unless Honda was at a disadvantage.

Kind of strange from what we're used to. With the front a rear wings flatting out in the straights is anybody bringing skinny wings to Monza ?

Alonso's been having deployment problems, he's driving around in 7th gear most of the time. Presume that's them working on the drivability.

Only at the start of the lap into turn 1, they get up to 315 KPH. The rest of the lap they get up to max 7th gear 305 KPH.

They're not pushing full out on the power yet. Sure they'll turn up the wick tomorrow and that will result in more 8th gear usage.

You don't hear Honda on the radio but Alonso's being asked to change ICE modes while he's in the garage. So I think Honda working on stuff.

Alonso complaining about engine, vibrations and top speed.

Feeling a gp2 engine radio during Las Vegas

The vibrations are pretty obvious and I don't hear any vibrations. So I don't think it's that. I think they're having deployment issues. The PU isn't deploying when it should.

Alonso just said "I don't want to hear about it, just fix it!"
