Max saw all his options and went for the bag. His interest in the series has been dwindling for a very good while now and he decided it was time to make some money. Great decision honestly. He will be a top driver but I just don't see what Red Bull have to offer going forward except the bag.

I strongly doubt this is the case, he is mega rich already and would just quit the sport. let's see what happens in the next couple of years.

McLaren shouldn't be a threat for the podium unless they are lucky. I think Max has a chance to win this. Their race pace was decent.

Everyone will be fighting for a tow in qualy, it's what will make the difference for poll I think, still Russell is the favorite, he will get a tow from Antonelli too, so will be very difficult for others.

The soft tyre seemed out of the window on those final runs, not enough improvement in the corners. Unfortunately Hamilton decided to ruin the final lap by passing in Parabolica.

Sadly RUS looks good here and tyre wear is a non factor which is his issue + Ferrari is usually strong on race day so I don't think more than a (lucky) podium is possible but happy to be proven wrong.

That means Liam can give Max a tow, provided he gets into Q3

The slipstream is going to be very strong here. It's going to be hard to pull away as the leader, especially with low deg. If Max is in the top 3 he has a puncher's chance.

Yeah, terrible run plan, not sure what they were trying to do, also Liam got screwed in sector 1 could have possibly been through. Max also complaining that car keeps degrading on the rear, whatever that means, suspension problems most likely.
