He has had brake issues throughout quali, so I guess that messed up his consistency. Couldn't even beat his Q2 PB in the end there. Bad quali, but to be fair they were kind of overperforming anyway. Didn't expect them to be close to pole at all.

Everyone had a car for pole. Including Alpine who did it )) They were the smart guys today. McLaren looked again like their Qatar 2025 version.
