No chance. Stella will be singing his praises. Remember, Stella has two modes. When Lando is in front, talk about Oscar. When Oscar is in front, talk about Oscar.It's the Stella way. When Lando extended his contract he still found a way to mention Oscar.

Not saying that Oscar did that on purpose. It may well be a genuine error. But the timing is suspect. He gets the benefit of a slipstream on the previous run and finds himself out front in Q1 with no one in front of him. He knows full well that with a tow Lando could challenge his front row on a lap where he is probably not going to go faster. And he fluffs the first corner, affecting his team mates lap. How fortunate for him. Now, in the race he will have the choice of pitstops. So as he trundles around holding everyone up as he melts his tyres Lando will be stuck behind him as in Spa because Stella simply wont allow Oscar to be disadvantaged. Even when he's a mobile roadblock.

I havent seen Qualifying as I was driving back home from the beach 80km outside of Athens. I am speechless hearing that we lost a pole because of Piastri.

He just proves yet again that he's an incapable teammate, even if it isn't on purpose. Don't just sit there twiddling your thumbs, get on with the tow you were tasked with giving! Such a frustrating guy to have in the team.

I do have to complain about the team sending them out first on the last run, wait and run later on, in the train, that would surely be better. I think Gasly was one of later ones.

Still I'm happy with the pace, I think they were closer than many predicted and who knows about the race pace. Looking forward to Lando overtake clinic.

The team doesn't help, but it cannot be that hard to not fluff it up at the very first opportunity. Luckily, as you say, the pace seems stronger than anticipated. Here's to hoping something worthwhile can be salvaged from the weekend.

It was looking quite good actually, considering McLaren was expected to not be competitive here, until Oscar took it in his hands and screwed himself first and then Lando as well. Top job. Might be a long day tomorrow.
