I honestly wish Ferrari did that, this equal treatment stuff only works out if you have a dominant car. Mclaren nearly fumbled with a dominant car last year trying to play this game.

Ferrari's failure to build a dominant car + their overt preference for constructors over wdc leads to poor decisions. I would rather have the focus on a single driver and get everything in place for them to succeed.

Their plan to get 2 world class drivers to attract british engineers has clearly not worked, someone needs to make a tough decision.

Your taking select parts of an interview to fit your narrative, which is unfair.

He is the greatest F1 driver of all time (statistically) and even at the age of 41 (i.e. clearly past his prime) has around 20% more points in the championship than his teammate.

He knows how to win and that is one of the primary reasons Ferrari employed him. When you have arguably the 3rd best car the only way to win the championship is to work as a team and right now that means Leclerc needs to contribute and be a part of that team. I have zero doubt if this was the other way around Hamilton would be helping him to win and try close the points gap. It's not about this driver versus that driver, objectively it makes complete sense to back Hamilton now.

Who fought so hard? Charles could've easily given hamilton space. As I always will believe...Charles will NEVER be a champion...he only wants to beat his team mate. Never will be anything more than a winner for ferrari.
