The number 2 pill should be an easy one to swallow in this situation guys. Why fight it?

Is he really delivering? I think that’s at best debatable. I don’t think I can think of one occasion when he’s really “outperformed” the car (in the type of way Max has multiple times this season) - after a very poor first season - and he’s hardly galvanising the team around him - he seems a bit divisive if anything; Schumacher would never have come out publicly with negative comments, for example.
Because Shumi got his number 1 status written in ink for a long time. He would be tearing into Ferrari he were in Hamilton's current position.
Would you get a backbone, self respect and some sincerity? Hamilton's statement is not even a quarter as harsh as what Max has dished out to Red Bull, who serve at his every whim.
Schumacher, unlike Hamilton, was quick.
Did MSC not get unlimited testing? Development? f1s version of a " dream team " of staff, Undisputed contractually agreed number 1 status? Also used driver aids....

Give LH and Mercedes those things, LH would still be at Mercedes and challenging for this seasons title as Mercedes undisputed contractually agreed number 1 status in arguable the best funded team with the biggest pockets on the grid, with unlimited testing, development, budget...

Merc would be about to lift its 13th title, So would LH......

What are you talking about mate? Have you missed the whole of Hamilton's career and every single race in the rain where he left everyone one minute behind? Have you missed the fact that he beat 3 different world champions as teammates and a dozen on the same grid including Max Verstappen when he was 36 and past his prime in 2021? His career is not that different from Schumacher. In fact many have Hamilton as the modern era Schumacher.
No even close if we are being honest

The structure at Ferrari doesn't make sense to me. I can't see how they are going to win any championship like this. Hamilton and Leclerc cannot coexist, as one would expect. Norris, Antonelli, and Verstappen are the clear leaders at their respective teams. So those teams rarely are dealing with so much indecision.

At Ferrari this team doesn't know what it wants to do. Hamilton said there are no rules of engagement. That fact that Vasseur cannot manage to organize a constructive team already show's that he isn't the team principal that is going to win titles with Ferrari.
Working on the balance.

No, he needs to stop thinking his team mate is the only driver with whom he is racing. As long as he only worries about his team mate, he will never win a title.
back in 2023 Max gave an interview in which he said, amongst other things: |
"Other things are important to me. For example, you always have to beat your teammate. That is and remains the most important thing."

stop this fake narrative, that Leclerc fighting only against his team-mates.
F1 is super competitive sport and if you cant beat your teammate you dont deserve to become champion. period.

what Charles did was on the edge, but acceptable
That the Max that has journeymen (or worse) as team mates and is given priority at every turn? That Max? The only time he had a half-decent team mate he didn't look quite so all-conquering.
He had no trouble beating your superstar in an inferior car, grow up mate.

Lewis is a 7XWDC team builder that's what they hired him for and he is delivering. It's up to Charles to learn how a champion operates and apply that to take the team builing over from Lewis, but it seems he has other more short-sighted plans.

Since 2022 Charles has been the major points scorer for Ferrari. He will score more points for Ferrari this year than Lewis did for the entirety of 2025 and people seem to think he needs to roll over for the rest of this year...

Yeah, letting his teammate through will definitely win him a title. Do you even hear yourself? It was the first lap, first corner, not the end of the world, these incidents happen, more so on the first lap, which is why stewards ignored it. But let's keep at each others' throats for this and completely ignore the fact that the PU is not good even after 2 ADUO upgrades and the strategy is still questionable.

I like Fred and this stings because you're right. He seems to be very nice but Ferrari needs a decisive leader albeit an ethical so there's no hint of favoritism.

Don't be dense. Does one no good going out in one sudden blaze of glory before the first lap has even ended. He earned his swift Karma.
How many times must he crash in order for you and the rest to question his quality, 5, 6, 7? He's at 4 now.

I wasn't talking about the crash, which itself was down to luck, as cars cross that white line all the time.

Without the incident, Hamilton still finishes 6th, there was no more pace in the car, and there's certainly no championship fight. The sooner you understand it, the better it'll be for your mental health and the quality of this forum.

The worst thing Ferrari can do at this point is make Leclerc no.2, taking away whatever remains of his confidence after making him suffer in mediocre cars for years.

I feel Toto Wolff or Andrea Stella, if they were at Ferrari, would never let the situation get to this point. On the first contact between Hamilton and Leclerc on the track this season, they would have had a serious conversation with both of them, defining each driver's role and how they should proceed in track situations.

Vasseur has no backbone whatsoever. The drivers are killing each other on the track and he has done absolutely nothing. That's why the situation has reached this point. It's the result of there being no order in the team and the drivers doing whatever they want. Hamilton has already complained publicly about this.

If he doesn't bring order to the drivers, are we supposed to believe he brings order to the team?

Hilarious comment from Lewis because eventual rules of engagement would never include a divebomb in the first corner.

Excellent way to distract from the fact he finished P6 on pure pace and has been on the podium once in the last 5 races.

Can we stop blaming Lewis for his divebomb. It was well executed and under control leaving space to Charles something he didnt return on the next turn. Max does divebombs all the time and in half of them hes going straight making the other driver taking evasive action. Its pretty much established by the majority that Ferrari first and Charles second screwed up big time. And saying he finished 6th on pure pace when he finished the race with the same tyre for 50 laps is unfair comparison.

The difference between a 0 stop and 1 stop was minimal, even factoring in the VSC. Hamilton was going to finish P6 even with a pit stop. He was extremely slow without Overtake mode, that’s it.
Also, this is by far Leclerc worst season in Formula 1 which is another proof that should have been replaced by someone like Bottas or Hulkenberg.

We said that some people when they signed Hamilton, what was the point of this. You cannot have 2 rooster's in one cage.
