I wonder if this 'revised' endplate vane is every going to see the light of day again, it was used for a few laps in Monza and ditched before they reverted to the old front wing. Probably a nice chunk of budget wasted.

I wonder if this 'revised' endplate vane is every going to see the light of day again, it was used for a few laps in Monza and ditched before they reverted to the old front wing. Probably a nice chunk of budget wasted.

They brought out the aero rake in FP1 with Iwasa in the car, testing stuff for next season's philosophy I'd imagine, that small diveplane was never going to generate the same amount of front end load as the current iteration, they might have gotten more downstream load from the floor as their document suggests but it came at the expense of the front. Then they gave Max a few laps for his feedback which was overwhelmingly negative (no front end)

We'll see if they try it again this weekend.

In my view redbull wants more rear downforce so they can run similar rake as Mclaren, currently RB22 is the only car in top 5 running pretty flat.

Good catch, I'd got the front wing complaints mixed up then, new one definitely seems better, this is the most stable the car has been all season, Liam doing well is also a sign.
