Not seen anything about it yet.
Alonso speaks with FIA about rule changes to next season to help Honda in order for Alonso to remain in F1.
I am guessing the rule changes being discussed are:
- Allowance of track testing
- Allowance of more budget and dyno hours

Then more extreme possibilities.

- Mid season engine manufacturer changes
- BoP more fuel flow for worst engine
- BoP more electrical energy for worst engine
- BoP more boost pressure for worst engine

Other than that. I'm out of ideas.

And I really think it is likely Honda withdraw if I'm honest as this must be humiliating for them. By far the worst engine manufacturer in F1 repeatedly having to be given concessions to compete.
They already have concessions courtesy of ADUO.

you making up bs Honda have not been given --- to compete its quiet the opposite ,fia felt honda was spending too much money in the last regulation cycle and brought a budget cap .they also introduced standard parts so any honda advantage in the electronic side was mitigated. The rules are meant to protect the like of merc and ferrari politically it always have been like that. If fia were to change the regulation they will apply to all manufactures not just honda .they is no balance of performance in f1.honda has repeatedly said they are in f1 to train there young engineers ,they are not there to prove to anyone that they are the best pu manufacture in the world ,for 2027 they bought some experienced personnel to speed up development.

ALO very mad about lack of power in radio. Later words are more diplomatic to the press, but its a mask. IMO the reason he has not renewed yet.
"With this engine, we cannot do the same program as the cars in front"

"Yeh, that is the problem, of this engine"

"It’s better to stop, you know? And try again next week"
I think it's time for him to retire. It's too painful for everyone. For him, first of all—he's going to wreck his hands. For his engineer, too—the poor guy is suffering, even though he didn't ask for this. And finally, for us watching it.

They already have concessions courtesy of ADUO.
When Mercedes gets the same concessions, there is a flaw with ADUO.

Also, Mohammed Ben Sulayem has no authority to grant additional concessions to Honda. That has to be agreed upon by the other engine manufacturers.

Additional concessions have been granted. It was announced earlier in the year.

Only fighting with the Cadillac and Williams cars today it seems. Probably need some incident or crazy lap from Alonso to get a car into Q2. I think Stroll is starting last anyway after using yet another battery.

You know that Merc didn't get the same. That we just know that Honda fell in the greater than 4% behind. The exact ranking wasn't published but it could enititle Honda with 3 times the resource increase from ADUO than Mercedes got.

Actually it's better than I would expect, very interested to see where the AMR lost time to others.

You can give unlimited ADUO or no engine restriction, it won’t guarantee anything.

- Honda needs to understand why their engine is crap. ( maybe they have)
- How the best engine works / use energy ( maybe they have)
- Have a plan to catch up, execute the plan

We don’t know where they are on that process nor how long it will take or even if it is doable.

If they do it for 2030 then it’s too late new generation of engine will arrive.

If I were Honda’s boss I also question myself about F1:
- they where humiliated 10 years ago… and then they fixed issues but had almost none marketing benefits, it was all Red Bull and Max
- Scenario is repeating itself now.

In a world like Formula 1, you’re going to be praised and rewarded by marketing when you come in and win or show strength right from the first impression. Honda was a shame 10 years ago and needed to recover from it, taking more than half a decade to do so. And what would you expect now? A medal recognizing them for a great job?

Honda is an incredible and historic brand, and they’re repeating the same from 10 years ago. They absolutely deserve to be publicly exposed and held accountable. The chassis isn’t the best either, but you can clearly see from the telemetry that the engine is an absolute disgrace.

Ford and Audi are also in their first year, and they are light-years ahead. It doesn’t matter what Honda has or hasn’t done in the past — they are also in their first year, and they are putting in a decent performance. Honda, regardless of the circumstances, should at least have been able to deliver something comparable. Honda isn’t even delivering the bare minimum.

S3 is on the same tenth as Verstappen and Bortoleto, ~1.5 tenths quicker than most of the midfield. 6 tenths quicker than Sainz. S1 is 5-6 tenths slower than the midfield, a full second behind Max.

I can somewhat understand Formula 1 fans who post comments on standard news sites because of thier lavk of understanding, but if someone writing on F1 Technical claims that Ford is ahead of Honda even in its first year, he must be displaying an indescribable level of unintelligence. Really unbelievable

Agree, but similarly Honda should have a heavy think about F1, It's beyond pathetic for both sides.
