after watching start replays it was the right call to give the place. pace is nowhere in any case, a second off norris. race will be with leclerc for final podium place.
It’s never over until it’s over. It’s been long clear he’s not winning a race on pure pace this year. Reliability could be a factor, which gives the only but real chance.

Leclerc faster on old hards...
Not faster , but rather on par. Chances are Max is holding back more.
He is definitely faster. Quite a lot more pace than I expected him to have actually. Almost on par with Lando. He might be pushing too hard though, let's see if he starts dropping off the cliff.
It’s been around 8 sec gap for many laps. As

I just hope max is not cruising and wasting time as they did in spa. Hards will easy go the distance on full attack as we see from leclerc

He’s holding back to keep the best in the tires for the race finale. Kimi will get a penalty for track limits. That’s the victory for ya.

They would be in front of Antonelli and prime position to win without the bad start. The pieces to win a race this season are not there. There's always an issue. Deployment. Starts, jumping rear axle, rear wing, balance, it's always something. You cannot do anything with this.

edit: Lawson...

It has been like that for multiple years now..... Carried by car is very applicable for Car Number 1.

Norris ain’t too bad though. He’s consistently been both the second-fastest and the second-best overall driver on the grid in my rankings ever since 2021. I’ve been saying for years that we’d only see the true Norris once he won his first championship, as it was always going to be a huge confidence boost for him—which he’d always needed. And it really shows this season.

I can agree and that's why it's so devastating for RB that Mclaren has this kind of car. Norris can run and hide from pole.
