Point taken ;)
I'd be very happy to see more action about sportcars or even rally raids.
Maybe you could suggest a new structure for the forums / subforums? Feel free, I'd be happy to discuss it with you.

i'm too lazy to keep remembering to hold the apple key (proud mac user!) each time!
However, in an Intel computer, use the wheel click, that is, click on the link with the wheel (middle button). It works, at least, in IE8, FF and Opera.

Separate latest posts on frontpage by section, add more of them, and cut in half number of news listing.

Create an agree/disagree option

Allow people to comment on news stories.
Have dedicated pages to each team.
Ditch old stories like the Toyota double diffuser(they dont even exist in F1 anymore) and the Red Bull RB5 that clutter the centre page.
Otherwise keep up the good work :D

Change the "jump to" button to enable to go back to the "Active topics" list. Many people are at the bottom of a page and want to go that list after reading or writing in an active topic. They have to navigate several page clicks or scrolls to get back there. I usually scroll up to go to the home button and after clicking scroll down to the short active topics list. But that is a pain in the neck.

Introduce a "copy'n paste filter", translating the post to six languages and search the web up and down before accepted.

What do you mean by pages? A page for news of each team to be grouped together?

+1 The outdated 'Development' section bugs me a lot.

The homepage is really cluttered and the 'forum topics' are too far down. Some new members don't even know it's down there at first. And I also agree on there being too many news articles shown.

And I 'hate' all the empty space on the sides of the screen. And I don't want to distort my page by increasing its size.

Mini-rant over.

MX Tifosi

They kind of already do have dedicated thread for a team.
For example the Ferrari F10 thread and The Mercedes W01 etc.
All should be official F1 technical threads. Its 90% there already, so its just a minor observation if anything.
The 2010 cars forum should be seperate and easy to access basically.
If its done "officially" I think more people would comment.
More could have been done.

Today's incident with illegal content posted by new user gave me an idea.

Mods aren't online, admin is absent too, so all we could do was to report posts.

Now, could forum be set somehow that post reported by let's say more than 5 users of certain status (for example: at least 100 posts) is automatically deleted?

That way we'd have moderation by responsible forum members, and it would be known to site owner which members participated in deleting.

I had suggested something very similar, when we were getting inundated with spam. That was before your triumphant return however, and was quickly quashed.

A second button, for 'report spam or illegal content' would work to. If anyone was to report something they simply didn't like just because they don't like a user, the mods would deal with them accordingly.
