Is this even legal

Simon: Nils? You can close in now. Nils?
John McClane: [on the guard's phone] Attention! Attention! Nils is dead! I repeat, Nils is dead, ----head. So's his pal, and those four guys from the East German All-Stars, your boys at the bank? They're gonna be a little late.
Simon: [on the phone] John... in the back of the truck you're driving, there's $13 billon dollars worth in gold bullion. I wonder would a deal be out of the question?
John McClane: [on the phone] Yeah, I got a deal for you. Come out from that rock you're hiding under, and I'll drive this truck up your ass.

Very nice, it's a two-seater. I don't know what car it is, but it had the proper blinkers on. It might be nice to get some downforce on the freeway. :)

A car does not have to have a windsheild to be legal. Renault Spider, Areial Atom are examples. A crash helmet is required though.

C'mon, different countries have different laws. He is in Slovenia, you are in UK...

A helmet is not required but goggles, tough shades or a helmet is recommended here in the U.K. because youwouldn't want a bluebottle fly hitting your eye at 70! I'm not sure what the laws are in America. To be fit for the road a vehicle has to pass something called the S.V.A. test (Single Vehicle Approval) which makes sure there are no sharp projections etc. To travel on the roads here legally a car also needs mudguards or wings of some description.

You're right. Different countries have different laws.
Anyhoo...
Try this:- http://www.indystreetofmiami.com/
Don't think it's the one in the video (too small), but close.
I guess if you had the money, you could take any race car (including an Indycar) and make it street legal.
Maybe one day, when I win the lottery

You can now but a replica single seat Vanwall that has a Jaguar V12 engine in the back. That's road legal because it has the correct light dimensions, no projections and mudguards with a tyre pattern on them.I'll find a pic in a minute.
