Why would you think that, Giblet? He's only outqualified him 4 times in a row, as well as finishing ahead in the previous 3 races. The yingyang inside me tells me that although Schumacher is still decently quick, he's a tad too old for top-class F1 racing.

Heidfeld would do a much much better job.
Any guy that can match Kubica would do better than grandpa Shumi. Shumacher is a great driver but should sit out a couple races this year.
He's good but is driving very lazily.

I can't figure out the problem with guy for the life of me. He's quick, consistent, usually is a match or better than his teammates, but nobody ever wants to keep him.

I also think Giblet's previous post is OOT. There is some silence about Schumi performance. Out of piety and perhaps expectancy of what he's able to do in the next 10 races or so he has left in his driver license, unless things improve radically.

"The Ferrari F1 team fired their entire pit crew yesterday."

This announcement followed Ferrari's decision to take advantage of the British government's 'Work for your Dole' scheme and employ some Liverpudlian youngsters.

The decision to hire them was brought about by a recent documentary on how unemployed youths from Toxteth were able to remove a set of wheels in less than 6 seconds without proper equipment, whereas Ferrari's existing crew could only do it in 8 seconds with millions of pounds worth of high tech equipment.

It was thought to be an excellent, bold move by the Ferrari management team as most races are won and lost in the pits, giving Ferrari an advantage over every other team.

However, Ferrari got more than they bargained for! At the crew's first practice session, not only was the scouse pit crew able to change all four wheels in under 6 seconds but, within 12 seconds, they had re-sprayed, re-badged and sold the car to the Mclaren team for 8 cases of Stella, a bag of weed and some photos of Lewis Hamilton's bird in the shower.

Yes it is fairly old.
I posted it because there is an element of truth in it and because the Ferrari fan boys have pushed me off their fan boy Ferrari F10 thread so as to avoid the traction limiting issue.
Lotus Cars are employing a large number of Ferrari workers at this time.
Ferrari are getting rid of staff like there is no tomorrow.
IMO this is so that they can make use of the world recesion and employ those on job opertunity schemes just like the joke. I think you will see the truth in this if you check employment figures.

I never rated the guy ,now I really know why.If my driver would stay away from the wall the entire weekend !!! I would pack up and leave ,no ways I would stand the humilation at the pitwall to have such a weener as my driver.He has NO RIGHT to speak a single word about MS talent or loss of it ...not even using the full track is the biggest sin i can imagine ...maybe he ´d try reverse at the start or keeping right on the track as a next step?
I really hope Mercedes quickly disposes with such a waste of time and effort.

In 2008 Alonso made a comment like "If Heikki does what McLaren ask him to, then he will stay there for long time" or something along these lines. The Ron immediately came out saying Alonso may be violating the terms of his contract terminations, etc. So, McLaren may have something to hide about 2007 after all?

This has been speculated for some time, especially as Alonso has kept so quite about the whole affair. We shall see in a few years i guess.
And Super racing, name me a time when two brilliant drivers have raced in the same team together peacefully?

I cannot wait for Alonso's autobiography - He MUST release one at some point now!
