I think that teams have two options. First one is to have big inlets and smaller chimneys, gills and other outlets or to have smaller inlets and bigger chimneys, gills and other outlets.

Naturally, for teams with overheating problems like RB there is third option which considers big inlets and big chimneys and big gills and...

According to AMuS RedBull is using last years V10 cooling system to cool that Ferrari engine down.

You'll notice that Ferari themselves haven't reduced their sidepods as much as other V8 users so they too must have some cooling issues, it's just that they Red Bull is still getting used to its new engine. This could hurt both teams aero efficiency.

You are right, they actually look quite huge compared to let`s say Renault or McLaren.

The inlet is smaller, but the whole sidepod looks the same size as last year.
