What is going on at Jaguar

Post

Poor Justin Wilson. looks like he is gonna be dumped by Jaguar to make way for Chris Klien.I think Jaguar mainly sign him in mid season is because of his sponsors. That's the same reason that Jaguar signed Klien. But i think Klien's sponsor, red Bull can pump in more cash than Wilson's sponsor.Love to see a leaping cat on the engine cover of Jaguar replaced by a bull.

I can see why jaguar let him go. Wilson wasnt really performing up to par. But they need the sponsors. I personally would have done anything to get Alex Wurz, he's fast and young. Plus he has the knowledge of being with McLaren. I really dont know why he stayed with Mclaren, its a dead end. With montoya for 05' and Kimi Raikonen seems to be a perfect fit. Who knows how long it will be before he gets a race. who knows in the end jaguar could have made the right move, but im not that faithfull in the big cat. what about villeneuve?

Money makes the world go round, particularly in F1 :!: Who had Redbull backing :?: Unfortunately for Justin luck and reliability were not on his side while at Jaguar so he never showed his true potential like he did at Minardi:roll: Wurz has the experience but again no money :!: besides, put in his shoes, where else apart from McLaren would you go :?:

Jaguar need the money. But this amounts to a trade off between additional dollars to simply stay in touch with Toyota, BAR etc, or two solid drivers who can get points on the board. Klien can't be worse than Pizzonia, but he brings more money. More money, possibly more points curtesy of Webber and a better car, and Jaguar stay in F1 for a few more years. Call me a cynic, but it does smack of desperate opportunism. I feel for Webber, he needs a quality off-sider against which he can measure his performances (and learn from!).

The only way Kimi will go to Ferrari is as a number one driver, there is no way he would play second fiddle to Schumi :!:

But then again it might just be rumours, just like 80% of news in F1

Then McLaren can snatch Alonso from Renault instead.BUt i'll still be disappointed if McLaren let go of such a talent like Kimi.

Now thats all Kimi needs is a mentor like Micheal Shumacher
Imagine how much more Kimi would improve with Micheal's knowledge and experience. Since MS would retire I'm thinking Ferrari want someone to take over for MS when he decides to leave......mmmmmmmm was actually hoping it would be Fernando Alonso.
Four years ago Flavio Briatore was going to sell Fernando's contract to Ferrari but Luca didn't want to pay what Flavio wanted  now Fernando is worth six times what Flavio originally wanted.

 Guess who is kicking themselves now
