kimi is the best

Post

baharain GP:kimi starts from the back and ends up in podium, i think nobody does more often as kimi does, it was a one pit stop so car was heavy and he could not enjoy the new tyres as others and not only that bar honda is much better car then mclaren (button proved by overtaking montaya two times) still he could not touch kimi who had old tyres........
no doubt he is the best .................
i am his biggest fan.......... :D :D :D :D

He's definitely good, and got the most out of a disastrous starting position. But he didn't win, and he didn't set the quickest lap. That honor belongs to Rosberg in a Wiliams.
He's got to win, and he's got to win the driver's title before this very talented Finn can claim to be the best.
Now if he can just get a car that can hold together for an entire race weekend.

I think he was 20th and he came in 1st, the first time that has ever happened
Simon: Nils? You can close in now. Nils?
John McClane: [on the guard's phone] Attention! Attention! Nils is dead! I repeat, Nils is dead, ----head. So's his pal, and those four guys from the East German All-Stars, your boys at the bank? They're gonna be a little late.
Simon: [on the phone] John... in the back of the truck you're driving, there's $13 billon dollars worth in gold bullion. I wonder would a deal be out of the question?
John McClane: [on the phone] Yeah, I got a deal for you. Come out from that rock you're hiding under, and I'll drive this truck up your ass.

Kimi drove excelent but Massa DNF in points, Fisi DNF, Villeneuve DNF, Rosberg had accident... so if those drivers stayed in race/kept their pace Kimi probably wouldn't finish on podium.

What would Kimi do from pole?

I remember Alesi in 1994 or 1995 overtaking everyone from last position after unplanned pitstop and than unfortunately DNF.

It was good solid driving from Kimi! But of course, he only came into the pits once, the others twice or three times. That's because of his fuel load and the new qualifying format!

It was a fantastic time, but we must remember it is quite easy for a car as good at that Mclaren to pass the likes of Super Aguri, Midland, STR, Red Bull & BMW.

Remember Montoya in German GP 2005...20th place on the grid and he finished in 2nd place.

Rubens Barricehllo, German GP on the old Hockenheim track, 18th place on the grid to win the race (his maiden win too)

I'm not trying to take away from the fact that Kimi did an outstanding job, but I do think we should be careful to to get too carried away.

I just feel that kimi and mclaren just dont click.. He seems to always have one problem or another. Over a course of a season we will see the mclaren fail on kimi. I think if they want to keep kimi for 2007 they need to provide kimi with a trouble free car.

Without laying blame on Kimi or Mclaren, or Mercedes, I am under the impression that if Kimi does have a troube-free weekend, he wins.
All too often, he's right up there in speed and qualifying. Not unless they have to change an engine, or his car expires or blows out the suspension while leading.
The only exception to my assumption was the last race of last year, when Alonso was set free, and won ahead of Kimi. Which leads me to thinking that Alonso is one very talented driver. He has the discipline to keep everything under control and race for the title, and only under extreme circumstances does he take his Renault to it's full 100%.

NO WAY i dont think in 2005 so it is just because of kimi had suspension failure when he was leading and just one more lap to go and second time he was leading and he had this transmission failure , if it would not have happened he lost 20 points directly.....he would have became the champion.
i find some how alonso more lucky , yaa he is good but lucky also .some how luck matters a lot in f1.see how fischeclla has all the problems and alonso never has.

Hi ss.vamsikrishna!

You can include me in the list of KR fans!

What a performance with a very heavy load of fuel. And a totally clean race from him.

His "Never say die" attitude is what I like most in him.

He was just unlucky. This way if Mclaren goes, you wil see him move to Ferrari in 2007!
