Raikkonen wasn't all over the place in 2001, and he obviously did something right to be driving for McLaren in his second year of F1! The difference between Heidfeld and Raikkonen was that Raikkonen was performing like that and matching Heidfeld after only one season of F3 or something stupid. Heidfeld not only had tested with McLaren but had two years of F1 experience which makes Raikkonens achievements (including a fourth place at one point) even more remarkable.joseff wrote:But does anyone remember Kimi's debut year at Sauber?
