Kimi's future

Post

SpeedTV's website is reporting that Kimi's management is currently talking with Toyota, as it seems that Michael might not retire at the end of the year, after all.

I'd really like to see Kimi join forces with Trulli at Toyota.

I can't believe people chat rubbish about Kimi.

He's the driver that shows everything out of nothing, and still...

he deserves it more then anyone else

his managment wouldnt dare put him with toyota. he doesnt seem to be a driver after money (ralf...) he seems to be the sort that would put performance first. so i really hope he stays at mclaren, he just doesnt seem to be a modern ferrari driver. certainly not a toyota driver.

He'll do well to stick with people with championship experience. This means Renault, Ferrari, McLaren, Williams and no other current team.

My guess is he'll stay with McLaren. No, I *wish* he'd stay. I'm sure we all miss the old Senna vs Prost battles.

If Toyota had produced a good car this season I'd see no reason why Kimi shouldn't go there, they would have a good car with a huge development budget.

However the car they have produced for this season is NOT good, at all, so I'd imagine the Kimi-to-Toyota idea is now well & truely dead. If Kimi went to Toyota it would Kill his carear unless he did something truely spectacular with the car.

I rekon he'll stay put at Macca & partner Alonso. Fernando & Kimi...what a driver pairing.

Potentially volatile...but so was Prost & Senna, and look what they achieved in 1988!

So Red Bull should kick Klien down as 3rd driver?...Seriously, have you heard Rai's manager talking to RBR?

why he out does DC all of the time. i would say he will go to one of the bigger teams. plus we wants a reliable car, so that knocks Red bll on the head.

i would like to add that kimi's future it like what Venom said....
....I just can't see him moving to another team because it'll
be like starting from begining. He knows how the Mclaren
car handles and moving to a new team will pose him new
troubles just like R. Barrichello in Honda.
Is there anyone that would like to add or object to?
(I would like to know your opinion on this matter)

I do get a feeling though that it is Kimi who wants to leave McLaren.....he hasn't had a good year with the team despite all the wins. The car constantly let him down be it as in quali or race and McLaren have released a statement as to they will not stop him whereever he decides to go. I want him to go to Ferrari as I think he would be a good successor to Michael(probably beat him in what will probably be his last year). Toyota seemed promising at the pre-season but after Bahrain one has to wonder...

I would say that i totally agree with your comment though it
would be hard for kimi. Look at Rubens and where is he now?
...your point is taken, though i really think that it'll might or
might not pose new problems for kimi.

I would have to say that it would be very wierd if Kimi joins
Schumacher in Ferrari....they were destined to be enemies!!
