I've seen the video of that punch recently ... I'll try to find it. In the meantime enjoy this pic

Sex, drugs and Rock&Roll ... wonder how this would fit with RDD

*Notice that the babe is wearing golden plated wardrobe... I mean sitting on top of the cooling pipe

I think Hunt also tryed to take on another driver who knocked him off the track at the last corner in an F3 race at Crystal Palace. They were dicing for second I believe when they collided.
The officials blamed the foreign guy!

Lord Hesketh brought James Hunt up with him from F3, where he had some horrific accidents and earned that label. James exhibited all the characteristics of a wild, but talented driver.

And he lived where I used to go to college!!!

(Wimbledon Village....I used to go to Wimbledon College...yes quite near to the famous Tennis Courts)

Not that ANY of that makes a difference to his abilities in a car!

He was a real character though. Being so young there's so much in the sport's history that I wish I could have seen...

...I guess I'm witnessing thing now that young people of the future will be saying they wish they could have seen:

A seven time world champion
The Youngest GP winner
The Youngest GP Champion
One of only four drivers to get the fastest lap on his debuet.

We're still seeing history being written. :D

When Lord Hesketh and James Hunt broke upon the F1 scene, it was exciting and wild. Here was this English Lord, a motorsport enthusiast showing up with a totally brand new team, and an incredibly talented, but wild driver who looked and acted like Hollywood's image of a wild and exciting race car driver. They had a teddy bear as their mascot, and were known as Team Teddy Bear. And of course, he backed it all up with incredibly good race results.

Simon: Nils? You can close in now. Nils?
John McClane: [on the guard's phone] Attention! Attention! Nils is dead! I repeat, Nils is dead, ----head. So's his pal, and those four guys from the East German All-Stars, your boys at the bank? They're gonna be a little late.
Simon: [on the phone] John... in the back of the truck you're driving, there's $13 billon dollars worth in gold bullion. I wonder would a deal be out of the question?
John McClane: [on the phone] Yeah, I got a deal for you. Come out from that rock you're hiding under, and I'll drive this truck up your ass.
