mclaren..definetly. the very idea of the chrome finish spells out everything. but by the way acer, mclaren was never prefered black and silver. They were orange in the yesteryears, red and white during the malbro years(during when senna-prost and early hakkinen years) even dark green at one point. the black and silver thing just came around about 1996 or 1997 when the switched from Malbro as thier title sponser to West.
so it all depends usually on its title sponsers. bar ferrari of course cos i think its thier heritage to be scarlet..;)

Williams
Renault
Honda

In no particular order.

The only reason I havn't fallen for the Maclaren is the duckbill platypus shaped nose. I've just never been a fan of the skinny nose look, it's a little to Michael Jackson for me.

And....I also like the MF1 sans the preschool rear wing. Theres something about it, kinda like one of those little dogs that are so ugly they're cute.
All I know is I don't know much....

Some people think this was the best F-1 car in history. I find its beauty and simplicity hard to surpass. You can figure I am not talking about the paint job, of course.

It is the FW-14b. It had active suspension (banned), traction control (banned), braking aids (banned), you name it. Probably, the height of mechanical development, before circuits started to be dangerously outdated (yes, I know, I always complain about circuits, I am a highway designer... ) and almost all driver's helps were forbidden.

On the other hand, I find the Renault livery is cute...

.. if only they could do a better sewing job with the sidepods. But, oh, la,la, the good 'haute couture' is hard to find.

Williams - very clean nicely balanced shape, great livery.

The McLaren has some sexy details, but I think the paint confuses the eye.

I quite like the STR livery.....

I just love the Mclaren's front nose design...it's got style!!!
I also think that the orange colour suited it well.
Anyone know why they kept their usual colour?

I think they kept the colour because it match's air emirates colours for there logo's and planes?
Simon: Nils? You can close in now. Nils?
John McClane: [on the guard's phone] Attention! Attention! Nils is dead! I repeat, Nils is dead, ----head. So's his pal, and those four guys from the East German All-Stars, your boys at the bank? They're gonna be a little late.
Simon: [on the phone] John... in the back of the truck you're driving, there's $13 billon dollars worth in gold bullion. I wonder would a deal be out of the question?
John McClane: [on the phone] Yeah, I got a deal for you. Come out from that rock you're hiding under, and I'll drive this truck up your ass.

Nah, Emirates planes are White with Golden Arabic & English writing of the airline name & logo. With a Red rectangle saying "Emirates" in white lettering on the planes belly. Hence the red wings on the MP4-21, currently (waiting for Vodafone Logo's?)

The silver/black logos are kept because of brand recognition i guess, West may have gone, but to many people Mclaren are the silver arrows, all their other sponsors are packaged well with their current branding and the Johnny Walker brand label also fits the scheme well...so I guess changing the colours purely because West are no longer a sponsor isn't really worth all the hassle.
