bahrain celebrity race

Post

anybody seen any results and/or pics from this? it looked so much better than the way we do them here in australia. proper racing, not a bunch of weather girls and pansy football players crashing into each other in pathetic 1 series bmw's.

In America, they have a celebrity races that is tied into Cart racing series, they used toyota celica's for those races, with celebrities and cart drivers.
Simon: Nils? You can close in now. Nils?
John McClane: [on the guard's phone] Attention! Attention! Nils is dead! I repeat, Nils is dead, ----head. So's his pal, and those four guys from the East German All-Stars, your boys at the bank? They're gonna be a little late.
Simon: [on the phone] John... in the back of the truck you're driving, there's $13 billon dollars worth in gold bullion. I wonder would a deal be out of the question?
John McClane: [on the phone] Yeah, I got a deal for you. Come out from that rock you're hiding under, and I'll drive this truck up your ass.

Thats not Michael Johnson the American olympic sprinter is it? If it is, that is kinda silly that he is considered a celebrity???

So the real question is, who is Michael Johnson???

(Please excuse my lack of knowledge outside of the States. I AM a pureblooded American afterall. That gives me the right to be dumb, correct??? )

Thats just weird to hear his name up pretty much out of the blue. Is he a big motorsports guy; I dont even know?

He's pretty fast but a guy who graduated from my college could out run him any day of the week....Gold medal winner, Justin Gatlin....

lol...Justin is fast. Although I doubt he could have beaten Michael Johnson in his prime on a regular basis. No doubt he would have been a challege, but Michaels world records still stand, and look like they will for a long time. Nobody is really getting very close.

I just have to throw out the fact that we went to the same university. It sounds cool until you realize that 28,000 undergraduates are enrolled there each semmester.

Man I'm a loser.....
