Sauber C30 Ferrari

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Wow, that's some garbled english thanks to an auto-translate program!!

Shame about the livery remaining largely unchanged (if indeed that proves to be the case).
Favourite driver: Lando Norris
Favourite team: McLaren

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Definite convergence in design this year.... boo hiss.

But again the car looks good. Still pull rod at the back.

Nice enough looking car, but the sponsors make it look a bit garbled. Red clashing with yellow, and the fact the rest of the livery just dosnt really fit to me.

Maybes ill grow to like the livery.

Push-rod is only really a good idea for Red Bull this year because they've been running it for 2+ years now.

It would be silly for a team to jump to pull rod at the same time as making a switch to new tyres. All of their comparison data would be completey useless. They would end up having to run last years chassis *hint hint* to get the data on the tyres...

It's great that they've got a nice batch of sponsors on the car, but the mishmash of colours at the front looks real ugly.

Rear looks less tidy than the Ferrari but overall it looks less bulky. I think we could be in for a much closer grid this year if all these cars work as expected - the aero solutions all look very similar so it could come down to who best understands the tyres from a mechanical point of view.

Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

Based on Autosport.com, they will have an integrated blown diffuser: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/89157
