The nose on the f150 is really up there. I'm assuming there is some sort of aerodynamic benefit to it?

higher nose-better airflow underneath it, more air passes around the cars sidepods to create more downforce to the rear end of the car...

Knowing that Sauber uses Ferrari gearbox, we can probably assume that Ferrari would also use exhaust blowing thru the starter hole.

Just popped in to giggle a bit.

I understand that F150 is an evolution, but compared to other 2011 cars it looks like car with 6.5 liter V12, 350 L tank and 15 speeds gearbox. I can't comprehend why they made it so long, so thick, and in the same time with such hollow sidepods.

It is legal as it sits in the central 15cm of the car, thus its area is free
