2005 missed oppurtunites

Post

In 2005, I think the following people should have stayed..

David Richards-He brought Honda to 2nd in the contructors championship, then he get out ousted for his fiesty attitude and the buttongate saga, sure Nick Fry is his friend and former worker at Prodrive, but I would have thinked that Davey stayed another year, Honda would have done better last year.

Dave Pitchforth-Another dave whoa, but he really brought Jagaur up when him and tony purrell were on the team. The evidence shows that the RB1 was a whole a lot better car then anything else (scoring more points then all the seasons combine of jaguar) , even in 2004 Jaguar was getting respect for there acheivements. Just to show you that slow conservative work on a car gets results.

Mika Hakkinen- More of frank williams fault with this, Mika wanted to come back to F1 and chosed Williams, but Franked he choosed jenson button over Mika then after the saga with button signing with Honda, Mika left for DTM, a real missed opportunitythere.
Simon: Nils? You can close in now. Nils?
John McClane: [on the guard's phone] Attention! Attention! Nils is dead! I repeat, Nils is dead, ----head. So's his pal, and those four guys from the East German All-Stars, your boys at the bank? They're gonna be a little late.
Simon: [on the phone] John... in the back of the truck you're driving, there's $13 billon dollars worth in gold bullion. I wonder would a deal be out of the question?
John McClane: [on the phone] Yeah, I got a deal for you. Come out from that rock you're hiding under, and I'll drive this truck up your ass.

He'll be back in '08 I reckon.

He works at Westland Helicopters just down the road from me with a mate of my dads now.

Sounds great m3_lover but it would have been depressing for everyone that wanted to see Mikka knock Schuey off the top spot if he was a second off the pace. Look at the trouble J.V. has had returning and that was just after one year off!

I hope it is with Hyundai backing him up.

He is a smart man, he sold his enginnering company to Ford, Pi engineering. That is so sweet that you know somebody who knows him Russ

He is a good driver, just needs a competitive car (which sauber is starting to look now) and J.V is good but he really screwed the pooch when he raced for renault during the last 4 races of the season. No offense to you Russ if you are a big J.v fan or anything :)

No, I agree. He found it tough getting back up to speed obviously after a year off with no cockpit time against a soon to be World Champ who had been driving the car a few years, knew the team and was starting to peak as a driver. Personally I think Jaques has still got it and would love to see Renault choose him over say Montoya or Kovalainen next year.

Jacque is doing some good driving for BMW sauber, you can see at Malaysia and Bahrain that he was really pushing it, and I would love to see him at Renault, but I think it will be Kovlanien and Fisichella for next year just my prediction.
