2008 Rules

Post

Has anyone seen the new rules that were announced by FIA on wednesday??
I saw them on formula1.com and they are pretty shocking, F1 is definitely going downhill IMO if these rules acctualy come into effect.

Its on the link below: (sorry if its already on this site)

http://www.formula1.com/news/4146.html

The main changes are four-race gearboxes, tyre warmers banned, 15kg weight penalty for unscheduled changes (eg engine change), spare cars banned, 30,000 km test limit, parc ferme from 6.30pm friday.

Thats just some, but its already sounds so bad, i could stop watching it in 08'. Its like FIA are making it into some 'minor league' racing, not the pinnacle of motor sport it should be.

The 15kg penalty sounds ok to me but the rest suck!!

Anyways, thats my opinion. Are these rules even concrete yet, or am i mistaken (hopefully [-o< ) and these are just suggestions??

Didnt see the other post sorry, will look at that...
