you would be beter off learing a real cfd program
the whole package of Cosmos u can classify it as an entry level or mid level for analysis software. I've worked with cosmos flow + fluent & gambit It's very very big difference At least U don't have full control of your grid and i think this is the most important part in cfd, Good & fine grid = more accurate analysis.
But I think it's a good package for those who needs to simulate simple cases and/or not involved in the CFD Work (just like watching the flow in a valve and get the pressure drop throgh it).
I wish I've explanied my point well :? :D

i agree its good for a rough guess but its no dedicated cfd program
you make a good point that it does have its uses but for something as large as a car the mesh will be huge.

Ive been using cd addapco suite for some auto stuff

you should check out there flow works addon for solid works its quite nice.
