He has good possible bang-for-buck potential. It seems a lot of people see it that way at least.

That's why I said possible. Anyone who followed GP2 last season knows that he is a very capable driver, so for the price he was a pretty good choice IMO.

There are also a lot of points going for engine results and the engine prices are very similar so to me the Renault donk was an easy choice :)

I thought Rosberg was good value for money too.

Yeah I found that out when picking my team... I felt that it was pretty pointless buying the best driver (e.g M.Schumacher, Alonso etc. ) and spending nearly have of the budget on them. When its only one driver who's not always going to bring back consistent points......It's much better, (I think anyway) to spend the money on the constructor and engine, which will score more points.

Anyway that's my thinking behind my team---Hope it's right

yes STR are the only team running the V-10's this year
Simon: Nils? You can close in now. Nils?
John McClane: [on the guard's phone] Attention! Attention! Nils is dead! I repeat, Nils is dead, ----head. So's his pal, and those four guys from the East German All-Stars, your boys at the bank? They're gonna be a little late.
Simon: [on the phone] John... in the back of the truck you're driving, there's $13 billon dollars worth in gold bullion. I wonder would a deal be out of the question?
John McClane: [on the phone] Yeah, I got a deal for you. Come out from that rock you're hiding under, and I'll drive this truck up your ass.

It's an adapted one tough...not the same like last year's V10's. But they'll come up with an V8 engine during the season

Button is going to win this game for someone I'm sure, he's excellent performance for the money, and very importantly, he's reliable. Almost never ends a race because of a mistake and drives a reliable car (so far).

My team could have been better though, as I said to Principessa that regarding the points that can be earned, it would have been a lot better to get the cheapest engine and chassis, and get good reliable drivers. The drivers after all earn way more points!!

yeah i thats right, the drivers get the most points. But the renault Chassis was a bargin, so i had to have it.

The Linch pin of my team is the young rosberg if he does well i am confidant of some good results, if hey fades away i am screwed.

By the way, if i driver is replaced .. eg. JPM plays tennis again and is replaced with Del rosa or even better gary parfet, do we get no points?

I think I chose too much like a team boss looking at the long term for future talent. However I reakon Roseburg will do me proud. After seeing him in GP2, I know he will be a star, perhaps even a win this year. The optimism card.

i havent read the fine print but we do we get points for all of the different combonations that we have picked.

like if rosberg scores points in aust then all of us who have him as our driver gets points as well, if this is the case why pick the old v10 as there is only one team running them???
