I'm always watching races live regardless on timezone so yes I got up for qualifying and race in Australia too.

hey M3_lover, i'm in canada too and the inane blather of vic router and gerry donaldson on TSN makes me crazy. between them, they dumb down everything to a point that it's wrong. i sent an e-mail to TSN asking them why they didn't have the ITV feed for Quallifying, but i got no response.

now i watch qualy and pre race on SPEED TV and the ITV feed for the race on TSN. its way better than this way.

Vic Router is more of a soccer guy, Sometimes Gerry Donaldson makes some good points, but the pre-race show really sucks I must say. But I will never watch qual or pre-race on speed tv because those guys are just horrible with there commenting.

You guys in europe are lucky, have Gps every second weekend at pleasurable times. For us down here, Melbourne is pretty much the only race that we can watch at a comfortable time.

Because of my addiction, i have to stay up till like 1, 1:30 Sunday nights when GPs are on. And even then coverage isnt that good, cos market isnt so good here. And then theres Montreal and Indy, have to wake up at like 3 or 4am!!!

Anyways, just thought id have my say. hehe

Well you guys seem to be sacrificing a lot for F1. I feel I am the luckiest. We get amazing coverage on Star Sports here in India and most of the GPs are 5:30 in the evening. The only odd time is for the indy race which is around 11 PM

Same here M3, I live not that far from you and follow the same viewing habits. One bonus is being able to switch chanels when the other goes to commercials, most times miss nothing (like when hu and Alonso were fighting it out at Imola.)
But I get up whenever there's a race, I see them all live. I also have a wireless laptop, and bring up the live timimg and scoring during the race. Very informative, and it gives a good picture of who's where, and the lap speeds.

Speed tv always stays on when ITV goes to commercial on TSN, I think they do it on purpose so other viewers will swtich back to speed when Tsn is having there commercials.

coverage on belgian tv is without commercials during the race :)

I must be really missing out. I only get the F1 races on speed, but from what I am reading speed is lousy :shock:
I may have to get a satellite dish, although I love Bob Varsh, Steve Matchet, and David Hobbs. Hard to believe there is better. :?
