F1 final year project

Hi all,

i am doing my finial year project on PTFE sealing components used in formula 1. I am still doing my reaserch and I was wondering if someone can help me. I need to know all the components in a F1 car that require a seal, like crankshaft, gearbox etc. If someone can provide me with this information or direct me to someone that can help me please PM me. Any help will be much appreciated! I am happy to provide some more information if needed.

Try contacting QMI in Lakeland, Florida. Alot of PTFE knowledge there. They also supply the piston coating to Toyota/Lexus and private label Toyota's service fluids. If Toyota F1 is using PTFE, it comes from QMI. Ford/Mazda are also customers.

a lot of rod-ends(aka rose joint) are also PTFE sealed, and they probably use that on their suspension components....
