I don't think that there is anything new about that. Toyota had implemented that technology couple of year ago in some of their Japanese models, which means that if Toyota had implemented them, some other manufacturers (possibly Honda) had done that same thing some time ago.

I don't know if anybody remembers the thread on Lexus LS460 I started couple of months ago...well that Lexus will have that same, self-park technology as a standard (if I'm not mistaken).

One thing Subary (I believe) had been working on is an auto-pilot on cars. In other words, just select your destination, adjust the seat and go to sleep. Apparently, it is very advanced....so advanced that it senses people or traffic on the road, and automatically brakes/stops when necessary.

I don't have my drivers licence that long and sometimes I park really really well, but other times I'd wish I had a BMW like that! I want that car!! :P
