You can also see Vettel almost looking sleepy in the cockpit before the race, closing his eyes for a few seconds etc.

Fascinating stuff that you esentially hand over the controls of the car to your sub-conscious so that your own thoughts or feelings doesn´t disturb the information if you will.

It's a shame, they don't show it in Switzerland at all. The nearest cinema in Germany I found showing the movie is about 90min away .
I'll be watching it somewhere else now with a Brazilian friend of mine. She can explain/translate the parts in Portugese for me.
Anyway, I still don't get it, why they don't show it here and no german cinema near the border had the idea to make some money by giving the Swiss people an opportunity to watch it.

There are english .srt files out there made by fans that can be played along with the video if you happen to have it.

You just need the file in the same folder as the video and the subs will work with and media player like VLC.

Luckily, I know that the projectionist at my local art-house cinema is an F1 fan : between the pair of us, I think we've convinced the local documentary festival to screen the film.

I wouldn't want to see this for the first time on anything other than a cinema screen.

Mods : How about we change the title of the topic to reflect more ways of seeing the film? Sure netflix is one way of catching it, but it would be nice if people were encouraged to post up details of more local screenings.

It would certainly encourage people who aren't on Netflix (like me) to get involved.

My day job is Vue cinemas in the UK. They will open the film in 10 cinemas for the opening week 3rd June, and then roll it out to all their cinemas after that. I'll update you as I get more detail...

When you do it right, there is a little man inside your head that actually drives and tells your body to do things,,,YOU just sit there...At least for me...my best races I was actually very relaxed.

That little man is also the guy taking care of your breathing, send soldier to a certain place when you are infected with a virus & sends medic men when you have cut yourself open

He also shuts you down when he feels like you have taken enough beating or just to focus all the resources on the certain matter.

Did you catch it in Toronto during Hot Docs festival? They had 2 showing on Wednesday and Friday last week....I drove back from MI to Toronto for the Friday night show...

Good documentary, and it was a proper "movie" in that it was dramatic and fit for big screen....the story of course we all know, but it is interesting to see some of the more human side of things, as well as the unseen footage that they used in the FOM archive....

I can’t imagine that this is the only one, must be doing the rounds so could be worth checking your local smaller cinemas to see if there’s a similar event near you.
