Wednesday's testing had just the regular drivers, none of the test drivers were on track. And wow, still a lot of laps by many drivers and teams.
Not only are the cars being tuned up, but all the drivers are putting is serious laps preparing themselves too. There's some very serious testing going on, this year's competition is very intense.
If you see from the tests, the time from 1st to about 14th is about a second a part, which means we are going to see some intense racing pretty soon.
Simon: Nils? You can close in now. Nils?
John McClane: [on the guard's phone] Attention! Attention! Nils is dead! I repeat, Nils is dead, ----head. So's his pal, and those four guys from the East German All-Stars, your boys at the bank? They're gonna be a little late.
Simon: [on the phone] John... in the back of the truck you're driving, there's $13 billon dollars worth in gold bullion. I wonder would a deal be out of the question?
John McClane: [on the phone] Yeah, I got a deal for you. Come out from that rock you're hiding under, and I'll drive this truck up your ass.
I have to say that the Australian GP was intresting already (especially because of all the crashes) but I think that we're going to see some fireworks at Imola!
New Delhi, April. 13 (PTI): Narain Karthikeyan today set a scorching pace on the first of four-day testing for Williams F1 at the Catalunya circuit in Spain.
The Indian, in only his second testing session with the British team this season, drove 97 laps and had a best timing of 1minute and 16.456 seconds, just a tenth of a second behind his teammate and race driver Nico Roseberg.
"I carried out a lot of suspension work on the FW28 today which produced some positive results. I matched the pace of the other drivers on track," said Narain.
The air temperature at the circuit remained a pleasant 17 degrees, and the sky clear and bright.
"All in all, I'm very happy with the way the test went, the car feels very comfortable now and I'm confident that we'll keep improving.
"I'm now looking forward to my next outing with the team," the 29-year old from Chennai said.
Williams' test team manager Mike Condliffe said other drivers of the team would be seen at some stage this week.
"Both (Narain and Roseberg) completed a busy testing schedule, running new aero parts and suspension items in the morning, followed by tyre construction tests in the afternoon," Condliffe said.
