Not not sure what is so special about that though?
Ferrari engine was 80.0mm/49.6mm...
This might be something to argue about, but my sources says 80.98 bore and 48.00 stroke, which meant a capacity of 2967cc, missing out on one percent of what was legal at the time, When everyone else was in the 2993-2999 cc range.

Ah OK. Unfortunately I don't have a Tecno engine in the garage to verify which source is right...!

So, one more about Toyota:
The TF101 (the 2001 car that never raced) had a feature at the rear that was unique for that period, but which can now be found on almost all cars.
What was that?

I know one of the guys who designed it :Jean-Claude Martens ...even though De Cortanze is credited for it...

Wasn´t it something with the offset of the rear wheels?

Nope, nope and nope so far.
Though I realise that there might be other things that were a bit unusual on that car...

Let's say that it is something that you can see directly on the car, i.e. with all body panels etc. installed, and no need for a ruler.

The TF1 had its hubs buried deeper in the rear wheels than all other cars allowing for longer wishbones and less camber change ....but then i think the question is dead already..

Does that really matter, the pull-rod suspension has been around since the 70s, both front and rear. What does "for that period" mean anyway, the 2000 Arrows A21 had a pull-rod front supension, designed by Eghbal Hamidi.

Was pull rod suspension not the norm in the 80s?
