Did Torro crash help Redbull?

A friend of mine has suggested Alguesari's crash at
the Monaco GP assisted Vettel's winning drive.

I quote him, below.....his words, not mine.

Torro Rosso : Just seem to be letting Vettel and Webber through during
lapping yet "legally delaying" others. Yesterday, Vettel was dead on his
feet. His 45 lap max!!! Pirellis were on 57 odd (and had to do an
unthinkable 62!!. He did hid first tyre stop in lap 16)and heading for the
"cliff". He would have been on the canvass and off the podium long before
the final lab. That was not a one stop race. It was Alonso's and more so
Jenson's. So the only way out is to get a safety car or black-flag the
race. Next Alguesuari shunts another driver at a spot where it is
impossible to clear the track without the safety car.

I may be wrong but we should keep an eye on Torro Rosso for the rest of
the season.

The STR's in general have been awful with traffic this season.

I noticed on mistake at Monaco, and that was one of the STR's not allowing Jenson through after he came out the pits. Jenson rejoined the track all over the STR but it simply did not give. There were no other cars nearby, and it was up through rivage. The STR could have backed out the throttle easily enough but refused. I was very surprised a penalty was not given because it was clear, obvious blocking.

As for the incident, that was caused by too many cars trying to fit into a space too small caused by some eager young guys hoping for a result. Was more like a GP2 incident than F1.

It wasn't that bad actually, he wasn't given more than 3 blue flags before he let Jenson pass. And in the end it only delayed Button's charge at Vettel by some 0.5 secs.

I fail to see where this is going. Note that there is just one known case of deliberate crashing, and that was forceful, even when the driver was in the same team.
This here was a simple racing incident, nothing more, nothing less.
