AMG were involved with the increasing the stroke of the engine, remember back then AMG and Mercedes were seperate entities.
Everything else was done in house I think, although im pretty sure 747heavy would know for definite.

I think its steel, as the Ceramic brakes are always listed as an option even on the SLS. And there is no option of it on Black series options list....
But looking at the braking spec, I dont think it will need much more stopping power...unless you want the white of your eyes on the windscreen!
