Is Ide deserved to be in F1?
He cause the retirement of Christijan Albers in San Marino, nearly hurting Albers and in my opinion he does not deserved the seat in F1.

I think that he should be moved down to 3rd placed drive and let Frank Montagnay take the driving role, that then might also kick Sato out of F1.
Like Irvinie and Senna in Suzuka 1993.............?ginsu wrote:I think that accident with Albers shows how inexperienced Ide is. There was no reason for Ide to challenge for the first corner the way he did. He hasn't been competitive, so there was no chance for him to pass anybody, so he really should've backed off and let Albers through. Instead, he acted like he was way faster than he really was and made a really dumb mistake. What was Ide thinking? He acts irresponsibly, and makes more than rookie mistakes. He makes mistakes that really question his overall driving ability. I definitely don't think he should be in F1.
Couldn't agree more. You can't set down a criteria for being eligible for F1 (certain number of races and wins in lower formulae etc.) then someone who fulfills these criteria gets through and isn't very good critisize them for it. One could argue that it is the same with Paul Dana in the IRL who fulfilled all of their criteria but arguably died on the track because of inexperience.manchild wrote: I really have no sympathy for Ide'd driving but no driver can enter F1 without approval of FIA so if he messes up blame those who gave him superlicence.
