Klein claims that Sato blocked him and also ruined his qualifying times. So po po Fisi should talk to him and form a support group. But at least Klein didn't make an ass of himself.
Fisi starts just a two rows behind JV, and since Alonso has shown that the Renault is one heck of a good car, should be able to move up in the field. I wonder if they will be fighting for position on the track. Go JV.

i think the pressure is piling on fisi.. he has been off the pace for the last few races..and fisi just lost it, even though he has a case against jv.. his conduct is not acceptable and could have been dealt with in a more professional manner.

Let's bring the the torches for Fisico! He forgot to stop, breath, count to 10, save it for the next time.

Barrichello ahead of Button. What a lap by Massa! I think Alonso got 20% of the "psychological" championship today. Close field in the second heat. You get from 2nd place Michael to 10th place Ralf by just 0.9 seconds. Montagny, 1:46, shut!

Europe GP is always unique. I couldn't find pictures: anyone have something? On:

-1997: What a GP! Three qualifiers with the same time. MS and JV had a showdown that makes the Fisi gesture a corteous complaint. Marshalls were booed at press conference and all.
-1995: Best drive by Michael Schumacher in his entire career, I think.

This I found googling:

-1973: A lap of old Nurburgring. Warning: 42.5 Mb but it is worth every one of them.

This is the KML file for Nurburgring on Google Earth I have posted already, in case someone hasn't seen it. Use the play tour button, at the bottom right of the places window.

if you were watching itv they showed Massa's lap that got him 3rd place, i to agree with M Brundle that it wasn't a special lap as he missed apexs through out the lap, that could be down to him or the car as nurburgring cause understeer.

Alonso used a new set of tires on his first pit stop, but used an extra set in qualifying. He may be stuck with scuffed tires for his last part of the race.

Did anybody else watch Trulli's pace just before his first stop? I noticed that with almost no fuel, Trulli started driving in high 35's, and even high 36's at one point, while fuel-laden cars were doing 33's and 34's. Any idea what happened?

Alonso was faster with old engine while Schuey had new one and pile of aero updates, so in Nurbugring he'll be midfielder again.
its going to a all renault and mclaren affair when it come round to nurburgring and catalunya.

Bar and ferrari will be fighting for the 3rd place
Nurburgring is a Michelin track, you watch Alonso, Rakkien or Button, Ferrari will be around 4-8th in terms of position. Mclaren are bring out the new engine package and other things, which they say that they will lead the class, and Renault keep on telling the press that the main competitor this year is Mclaren and not Ferrari.
I personally think that Nurburgring and catalunya will the acid test that sorts out the "who's who" for everyone especially, ferrari.
Never underestimate Ferrari

I have no idea as well Redbaron. Trulli was 5th and all of a sudden, when the race ends, he's not even in the top 8! I really don't see what could have been the problem with Jarno.

I'm really disappointed that Alonso didn't win! He was too....did you see his face after he got out of the car and on the podium? Poor Fernando :(

I'm really glad though that Jacques Villeneuve was able to collect points! And I'm impressed by Nico Rosberg. Mark Webber was unfortunate again, but his team mate did very good!

What is up with the Red Bulls and the Scuderia Toro Rosso's? They always hit each other :P !
Too bad Klien had to abandon! He was driving a good race!

Oh well, another exciting race! I hope that a lot will follow....but with another winner

Jason there is no need to post everything that happens in the race, We are Ether all watching or will watch it when it gets repeated, Most people dont want to know what happens durring the race if they have missed it cus it spoils it when you watch the repeat. So can you please stop posting stuff that is meaningless.

Well done to Rosberg, Good race from Ferrari, looks like they are back.
I believe in the chain of command, Its the chain I use to beat you till you do what i want!!!
