if that was true.. its great for jv.. he is such a talent and i think there is still time for him to come back to the top to fight for wins.. but 5 years.. i doubt it .. look at his age.. if u say a 2 year contract maybe.. that also is pushing it.. is there any links to back up ur rumour?

A five year contract is unheard of in F1, usually 4 years at maximum, but 5 JV would be 40, alittle too old in F1. I still think he is going to get the boot next year.
Simon: Nils? You can close in now. Nils?
John McClane: [on the guard's phone] Attention! Attention! Nils is dead! I repeat, Nils is dead, ----head. So's his pal, and those four guys from the East German All-Stars, your boys at the bank? They're gonna be a little late.
Simon: [on the phone] John... in the back of the truck you're driving, there's $13 billon dollars worth in gold bullion. I wonder would a deal be out of the question?
John McClane: [on the phone] Yeah, I got a deal for you. Come out from that rock you're hiding under, and I'll drive this truck up your ass.

Jaques is gone. He may be doing ok, Infact Heidfeld does not look so good now, but no way 5 years. Noway even 1 year

i have to disagree with u ... i think its possible for him to stay on for 1 more year.. he seems to be competitive and even though heidfeld is the number 1 driver he is as competitive and in some cases faster than him.

I also I think it depends very much on how well Kubica copes with this year. If they think he's ready, then he'll move up onto the drivers seat...and at much less $ then JV (regardless of how much JV lowers his $.)

I definitely hope JV stays!

Damn I wish Irvine was still around! lol
