could be comparing the temperature of the track as they might have had discrepencies so were just checkin or maybe checking up on something within the rules

I found similar picture on autosport.com (San Marino GP, Saturday) and there is this text under it:

"Mechanics compare tire logs, San Marino GP, Imola; Saturday April 22nd, 2006."

You could be right, because there is no such text attached to the Nürburgring one. :wink:
