Although Christian Klien is showing a great performance this season the Red Bull team decided to take him out for Doornbos' euro's. Doornbos was already paying total sum of eight million euro for his job as Red Bull's test driver, but his sponsor Muermans will pay an extra seven million euro to have the Dutch man back at the grid.
Doornbos replacing Klien can be a good idea to me. I can see Klien is showing superb performance, but what if Dornbos can deliver more than him? Don't be afraid to try. His sponsor paid 15m euros for that seat.
If this is true, then Whoa what a shocker, even more shocking then the bulldog being kicked out of Toyota. I have not seen any other f1 news website reporting on Red Bull and Klien. This has become a real exciting season so far.
If this is true, I really hope that Doornbos can get some great results. Klein has been in F1 for some time, and he has not made much of a impact and there have been rumours of him being gone at the end of this year. And I thought the point of Luzzi testing out for Red Bull was so he can upgrade next year from STR to RB. Hmm guess not and if this is some april fools joke Im going to punch a donkey or the stig.
Simon: Nils? You can close in now. Nils?
John McClane: [on the guard's phone] Attention! Attention! Nils is dead! I repeat, Nils is dead, ----head. So's his pal, and those four guys from the East German All-Stars, your boys at the bank? They're gonna be a little late.
Simon: [on the phone] John... in the back of the truck you're driving, there's $13 billon dollars worth in gold bullion. I wonder would a deal be out of the question?
John McClane: [on the phone] Yeah, I got a deal for you. Come out from that rock you're hiding under, and I'll drive this truck up your ass.
Well...I don't think that it's going to happen and if it happens that Klien gets replaced...Doornbos couldn't do better than Klien. That's what I think!
There is no truth whatsoever in the reports about Robert taking over from Christian Klien,” a spokesman for Robert Doornbos told GP2006. “We read the same rumours on the internet, but the fact is that a sponsor of Christijan Albers published the article without even talking to us, Robert himself or the team.”

Well, both Klien and DC didn't perform that well this season. Or they had an accident with one of the Toro Rosso's or they had technical problems or engine problems. I don't think that they can just replace Klien. DC didn't do that much better.
Klien does deserve a race seat for atleast one more season. This season may not be going good but he certainly has proved himself in the past. I think he is just nervous driving with DC.
I don't think it has to do with that since he already drove besides DC! I just think that you can't forget the problems with the Ferrari engine and all the other technical problems that the team suffered this season.
Red Bull would be far better keeping both drivers. Klien is a rising star and will be good but DC was the key to stealing a lot of Mclaren personnel and next year he will fit right in with them. I like the reference to 'Uncle David'
Scuderia-russ. Brilliant! I had never thought of that.
