Just wondering folks. Who would you all pick if you were structuring your own technical departments? Who would be head of aero? Head of engineering? Head of... etc etc?

You're allowed to choose anyone in the paddock right now - and no bringing people from the dead

For myself -

TD - Adrian Newey
Chief Aero - Bob Bell
Chief Designer - Rob Marshall

TD: Ross Brawn
CD: Adrian Newey
CA: Tim Goss

If i were a start up team, with a decent budget, and having to build a technical team from scratch maybe something like this:

TD: Gary Anderson
CD: John Barnard
CA: Eghbal Hamidy

All these currently don't work in F1, but they used to.

Eddie Jordon as owner to raise cash and attract attention
Mike Gascoyne for his ability to deliver a belt and braces car on the cheap and get attention
Whoever it is at Sauber who enables that car to go on and on and on so it get points by simply staying out on track forever.
Rob Smedley for his candour - did you see his grid interview with Martin Brundle in Koroea? Fantastic stuff.
Kamui Kobayashi for excitement on track
David Coulthard for entertaining the sponsors and press

Finally ... Monisha Kaltenborn Narang from Sauber as TP to exude calm and stop fights breaking out between Gascoyne, Jordon & Smedley!


Oh, I see that's three people from Sauber. Unintentional, but they are the team making most progress in midfield at the moment.

On a general note, it'd be better if people said why they chose the people on their team. A plain list of names is bit of a cop out.
