The R26 is the best package since the winter and in 2 false GP that leave ferrari as the sole driving F1 force is so ridiculous!

renault start alows R26 to win 3meters to others, more massa Vmax was done ny slipstreaming another car, i bet that not a ferrari will puut his nose aside renault cars at first corner, more renault is 0.4s average quicker than ferrari alonf the track..

in imola R26 was fastest, in nurburg R26 choosed bad compund, so in the doubt Renault tested a light quali for alonso, but beleive me tomorow alonso will pit after both ferrari, more the red tyres will be in big dificulties after 6 laps!

the red dream will end up tomorow after the renault double!

i assume u r a renault fan :P

i gotta say its between alonso and shumacher...
-alonso will win if he gets away and fisi slows shumy
-shumy will win if he can keep up with the renaults and has a more fuel.
-fisi having a good race weekend.. he should be on a fresh engine.. and u know in malaysia he was on form and on a fresh engine.. he won.

I dunno about Fisico pulling a Schumacher/Ferrari-type block.

Personally, I'd like to see Fisico put it to Alonso and see if he can prove himself. I think he's a fast driver, but there's no way his inconsistency is just due to bad luck. Lower results than teammates have happened too many times for him to evade all blame.

So it's good to see how fast Fisico is compared to Alonso on one of his good days.

He also definitely needs to prove himself to his team i think.

p.s. Is it just me, or are all the pitbabes at this G.P. hideous Frankenmonsters?

That fin has been there this season and last season.
Simon: Nils? You can close in now. Nils?
John McClane: [on the guard's phone] Attention! Attention! Nils is dead! I repeat, Nils is dead, ----head. So's his pal, and those four guys from the East German All-Stars, your boys at the bank? They're gonna be a little late.
Simon: [on the phone] John... in the back of the truck you're driving, there's $13 billon dollars worth in gold bullion. I wonder would a deal be out of the question?
John McClane: [on the phone] Yeah, I got a deal for you. Come out from that rock you're hiding under, and I'll drive this truck up your ass.

Did anyone get to hear the comms between Villeneuve and his engineer during the third practise session
Villeneuve: "locking my brakes badly into turn 5. It was not happening yesterday."
Engineer: "Drive slower"

From what I saw in practice and qualifying on board cameras, Shu seems to be suffering from understeeer in slow sections. If so, that can slow him down if he pushes too hard. I do expect Massa to be sent out and go as fast as long as he can, in the hope he pushes the Renaults into mistakes or tire wear problems. Barcelona appears to be shaping up as Renault versus Ferrari, with everyone else fighting for the remaining points.
Toyota will probably get points, but it's a great mystery why McLaren seem to have lost the competitive edge. There should be some great battles for the remaining points, but sadly, I expect the Spanish TV director to focus on Alonso, and not show much of what's happening to most of the crowd.

i agree, bernies FOM production team that manages the tv broadcast for the flyaway rounds should do it for every round. they seem to be much better than the local european broadcasters... just hope the spanish guys will do a great job and i wish to hear more pit radio messages

But what is McLaren doing with Juan Pablo again  ! They are such idiots! Montoya always says that he wants to stay with McLaren but it would be better for him to just go to another team! It would be the best choice for him.

Toyota indeed did good Dave during quali. But I hope that this time Jarno Trulli gets to score points! I don't really know what happened with him last weekend.

Steve Hallam of McLaren says he expects the cars to understeer on new tires, tending to neutral after the tires wear out. So I guess it's quite OK to have some amount of understeer during Q3 on new tires.
