Today it is exactly 20 years since Elio de Angelis died during testing at Paul Ricard.

From many remarks from other drivers I can tell he had no enemys, every remark was freindly and with no hint of prejudice. F1 has never since seen anyone with such qualities.

Thanks, I just thought that it would be good thing to remember Elio.

This a part of his bio found on wikipedia:

As well as his considerable skill as a driver, De Angelis was also concert-standard pianist who famously once kept the drivers entertained for an entire evening in the midst of the mid-80s driver's strike. 8)

I have heard that before - did you know that James Toseland (WSB Champ) is also a pianist.

Maybe there's something in a musicians ear that helps with the timing?
