BBC have removed Brundle, Ted Kravitz and Lee Mckenzie from their BBC F1 twitter list this morning

@Diesel - Brundle would still be doing grid walks though. FWIW.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ted moved to Sky though - he seems to have followed the F1 circus everywhere. I remember he was at ITV when they were doing F1...

Those guys gotta do what they need to feed their families and keep a roof over their head and that house with heat, electricity and an internet connection. Simply what we all do i guess.

F1 journalists and photographers and production teams don't really get to see their families as much as you or i, considering they are on the road for 200+ days a year. The longest they have at home is about 3-4 weeks in the winter over the festive period.

They work as hard as the mechanics in the garages, who are on significantly less money. The team members enjoy security to and from events at some countries, the journalists don't. Many of the teams book their mechanics into decent 4 star hotels, journalists often are in 2 star dives in comparison.

Its not all glamour and Starbucks.

I say fair play to them, one thing we will get is a pretty consistent level of quality i think.

Lee "Just tell us what happened out there" McKenzie. I am sure there is more to her, but this is literally the only sentence I ever hear her say in the shortened TSN broadcast in Canada.

Does she do much more than what I said?

For as far as I noticed she gets 10 seconds in the preview and if she is lucky she can interview one while the race is going which is shown

Apparently BBC confirm David Coulthard and Lee McKenzie will be back next year alongside Jake Humphrey

Glad Martin will be on Sky. I also think that Ted will be there too. He has a good relationship (or so it seems) with all the people who are important for info in the pitlane... which is a good asset.

I've chosen to stay with the BBC next year and although it'll be different I really do think we will do a great job to entertain you

edit:
ESPImperium - I think JohnsonsEvilTwin was maybe talking about the beeb removing them this morning from their site.

I'm glad Croft is getting a break to move from Radio to TV, although it'll be a loss to me because I don't have Sky

Same I like listening to him during practice. I think Martin and David will make a good team.

Eddie isn't confirmed for BBC yet, perhaps his going to Sky as well?

Yes, she also says "you must be bitterly disappointed, talk us through it".

 haha, yeah that's all I get from her too on TSN... I've watched a few races from the BBC iPlayer and she does interviews with driver (ex: an interview with MSC at the Mercedes GP plant). but in all fairness TSNs coverage sucks badly, it starts 5 minutes before the race and ends sometimes before the interviews of the drivers

Those are usually how she 'closes' her questions, she will usually say something before that, I guess that gets cut on your coverage.

Can anyone tell me if there are going to be adverts during the race whilst on Sky?
